Aiano’s best selling Classic radiator guards, panel heater guards and storage heater guards are installed in schools, pre-schools and nurseries, care homes and many other environments all around the British Isles, from Cornwall to the Shetland Isles, from Norfolk to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The AIANO Classic wire mesh heater guard has a strong round bar frame that continues around the front of the guard. This is a distinguishing feature that differentiates the AIANO Classic heater guard. AIANO heater guards have at least 75mm clearance between the heater and the guard to ensure the guard does not get too hot to touch, and that fingers cannot touch the heater.

Aiano’s pioneered the design of the sloping top guard and we make sloping top heater guards for both floor-standing and wall-mounted heaters.

As well as being an attractive guard, the AIANO sloping top heater guard provides extra health & safety protection. Heaters and guards can be a tempting target for people and children to sit on, or a convenient shelf for a book or a coat, or that cup of coffee. This can impede the effectiveness of the heater, as well as representing a health and safety hazard. An AIANO sloping top heater guard prevents objects or people from resting on top of the guard or surface providing extra health & safety protection.

As well schools, Aiano’s sloping top heater guards are particularly suitable for libraries – where, in addition to providing enhanced health & safety protection, they help prevent damage to precious books being left on top of radiators or guards. AIANO sloping top guards also provide a practical solution in scout halls, church halls, village halls and community centres, places used for many different purposes and by people with many different needs.

AIANO Vario radiator guards offer a lighter alternative to our well-known Classic range of radiator guards. AIANO Vario guards use the same strong mesh and expert manufacturing as our Classic guards.

Many of our customers need an option for projects involving large numbers of radiators that need guarding, and where the bottom line cost is crucial. With our long experience and know how, we have created a guard that benefits from a reduced making time and materials without compromising the quality and high standard customers expect from the AIANO name.

Aiano’s VARIO heater guards are suitable for most environments and situations, including schools, nurseries, stations, car parks, care homes, hospitals and so on.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR AIANO CLASSIC, SLOPING TOP AND VARIO GUARDS

Aiano wire mesh heater guards and wire mesh radiator grilles are made at our wireworks in East London. The mesh and steel used in our products is produced in Europe.

Materials – Aiano radiator guards are made from 25mm x 25mm x 2.64mm (1″ x 1″ x 12swg) copper washed mild steel weld mesh on a 5.35mm (5 swg) or a 6.4mm (¼”) frame with 4 welded lugs (2.5mm countersunk hole) for fixing to the wall.

Finish – Aiano heater guards are powder coated white in an epoxy-polyester mix. Epoxy polyester coating represents the most durable and practical coating for indoor use. We can provide other coatings where required, such as polyethelene or zinc plating, and we can also provide other colours. AIANO Heavy Duty radiator guards

When expensive heating equipment needs to be protected against robust treatment, vandalism or other extreme environments, AIANO Heavy Duty Guards provide extra strength through their construction, design and materials. No guard can provide full-proof protection against determined vandalism or misuse, but the Aiano Heavy Duty guard offers extra peace of mind. These rugged guards are made from tough 22mm x 3mm steel angle bar and have extra support in the form of 25mm x 3mm flat bar, which strengthens the guard at its most vulnerable ponits – on the front and top panels.

Aiano offers a small range of standard heavy duty guards to suit the key Dimplex storage heaters and their equivalents, see website for more details. Alternatively we offer a bespoke service and can design a guard to your specific dimensions and requirements.

Aiano Heavy Duty guards are particularly suitable for environments such as Territorial Army centres, stations, prisons and other environments where forceful contact may occur.

HEAVY DUTY GUARD TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Aiano heavy duty heater guards and wire mesh radiator grilles are made at our wireworks in East London. The mesh and steel used in our products is produced in Britain and Europe.

Materials – Aiano Heavy Duty radiator guards are made from 22mm x 3mm angle bars, 25mm x 3mm flat bars and 25mm x 25mm x 12swg weld mesh. Holes are drilled in the angle bar frame to allow for fixing to the wall.

Historically, heater guards were made with half-inch mesh (1/2″ x 1/2″), for a solid-looking finish. This mesh can be requested now on any of our heater guard products. AIANO Traditional small-mesh radiator covers provide extra protection for small fingers, or if there is a risk of objects being pushed through the mesh.

Aiano Traditional guards are individually made by our expert welders and wireworkers and are characterised by an exceptionally high standard of manufacturing detail and an optimal health & safety specification. Each panel or facet of the guard is reinforced with a round-bar frame that gives the guard strength and a clean definition, making a guard that is strong and built to last, as well as being arguably the most beautiful of our heater guards. The small mesh size used means that they are finger safe for the majority of people. Each panel of the guard is welded on to a round bar frame, and extra support bars all make the AIANO Traditional heater guard a strong solution, as well as being a very safe and attractive one.

Aiano Traditional small-mesh radiator guards are suitable for most environments, but are particularly popular in schools and nurseries.

AIANO TRADITIONAL HEATER GUARD TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Aiano traditional heater guards and wire mesh radiator grilles are made at our wireworks in East London. The mesh and steel used in our products is produced in Britain and Europe.

Materials – Aiano Traditional radiator covers are made from 1/2″ x 1/2″ 16swg (12 x 12 x 1.64mm) weld mesh on a 5swg (5.38mm) round bar frame with welded lugs. Every panel of the guard is mounted on a round bar frame.

Aiano’s has developed a number of different product options that provide additional health & safety features and convenience, such as lockable control flaps for access to heater controls, special fixings that enable the guards to be easily removed, and welded legs for facilitating cleaning under the guards (for storage and radiator guards.
